Information about New Orders

 

With New Orders we talk about all PCBs that have never been produced at tw-elektric before.
We create a new Order due to a submitted quotation and the provided Gerber-Data as well as the necessary documents. Of course you can send us your Gerber-Data without a previous request.
These PCBs will also be produced to the common, fair prices.

 

Our calculation:

 

1.) Unit Costs – Unit costs will be calculated on the documents provided. 

2.) Associated Costs – These include the initialisation and the following archiving of your product.

3.) Plotting Costs – These costs include the generation of the complete filmsetting of your product.

4.) Testing Adapter – The testing adapter will be created at your request and after the production of your product also archived. Alternatively we test samples for a reasonable price with our modern Finger Tester.

With the order of series we calculate the full price.

Please note that: Pos. 1, the unit costs are depending on the ordered quantity, meaning the bigger the ordered amount the lower the prices.

 

Pos. 2 - 4 are only calculated once with the initialisation of your product. In case that your PCB is SMD-equipped it is of high importance for us to know whether a one- or two-sided SMD-equipping is being done.

Information about Follow-up Orders

 

Follow-up Orders are all PCB-types which have already been produced at tw-elektric in the past.
In this context please note the following: If a product won’t be produced within 5 years after its order, the whole archive will be deleted after consulting the costumer. Repeat Orders will be offered to the original prices after years if possible. But due to latest selling conditions (Rise in prices of basic material, etc.) we can be compelled to align our prices in a moderate way.

Information about Modification

Modifications are for example the alignment of drilling diameters or contours. These will be charged according to expenditure. We normally have to handle serious Modifications concerning the layout as a new order.
Therefore it is very important for us to know if your original index has to be archived any longer.

 

Important: If you replace the original index by a new version a possible danger of confusion can be excluded.
